This weekend is Iowa City's Store-Wide 1/2 Price Sale!!! This is a sale you don't want to miss. They have been stocking merchandise like crazy for this sale and there are some serious bargains there! Today is the day to line up your baby-sitter, find all your monies, get your running shoes ready and take a nap (you need to be rested)!


They will be open from 8am-5pm...or buy an Early Bird ticket (at Iowa City) and get in 1 hour before the doors open to the public. An Early Bird ticket will get you in the door from 7-7:15am, the doors will close at 7:15am and re-open at 8am for the general public. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the Iowa City location.

Stuff Etc is having a food drive during the month of July to support the Crisis Center Food Bank.

Here is how it works:
1. Bring in 3 canned goods to any Stuff Etc store the weekend that is NOT their Store-Wide 1/2 Price Sale...see below for 1/2 Price Sale dates.
2. The weekend for Stuff Etc is Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
3. Turn your 3 canned goods in at the register to receive 25% off all regular priced items.
4. The beginning of August we will collect all cans donated and deliver to the Crisis Center Food Bank. We will definitely be posting the results here on our blog, so check back!!!

Stuff Etc goes to Arizona!!!

Mary Sundblad, owner of Stuff Etc, along with the manager of the Cedar Rapids East store, Jody Hagerty, the manager of the Cedar Rapids West store, Laurie Hanson, the managers of the Coralville store, Sara Sundblad and Brittany Lephew, and the manager of the Iowa City store, Stacie Frede, recently attended the National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops (NARTS) 22nd Annual Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. Carefully crafted for resale professionals, the four day conference is the industry's most comprehensive educational event of the year. Sundblad and team attended specialized resale workshops, stimulation networking sessions, a motivating keynote speech and a resale trade show during this focused program.


Mary Sundblad has been a member of NARTS for 18years. "We have an ongoing commitment at Stuff Etc to continue our resale education and stay at the top of our profession," says Sundblad. "We left the meeting in Scottsdale with renewed energy and a multitude of invaluable ideas to help us provide exceptional service and quality merchandising to our customers."
